These pages describe how Nomad AI Systems operates today. They are not a substitute for personalised legal advice. If you need a formal review for your jurisdiction, speak with a qualified lawyer. Entity registration details (for example ABN) will be listed here once finalised.
Nomad AI Systems products on nomadsys.tech are built with AI (development tooling) and offer optional AI-powered features inside Nomad Journal (Pro). This page lists the systems involved, what may be sent to them, and how outputs must be treated.
1. Product AI features
Depending on your plan and the action you take, AI may power:
- Screenshot / chart analysis (trade field suggestions from an image you upload)
- Analytics chat / coach answers about journal data you already stored
- Nomad process grades, including ICT-style chart reads on eligible tagged trades
- Other assistive summaries where a Pro AI feature is explicitly invoked
Free plan features that do not call AI providers still store your journal data on our servers as described in the Privacy Policy.
2. AI systems we use
Claude (Anthropic)
Role: Primary AI for screenshot / chart analysis, trade note helpers, analytics chat, and Nomad process grades (including ICT-style chart reads on eligible trades).
Data that may be sent: User-selected content such as screenshots, trade facts, notes, strategy/rules context, and nearby chart candles needed for a grade or analysis.
Training / model use: Processed under Anthropic’s commercial / API terms. We do not use your journal content to train Nomad’s own models.
OpenAI models (OpenAI)
Role: Optional fallback vision / analysis path when configured by Nomad.
Data that may be sent: Same class of content as Claude when the fallback path is used.
Training / model use: Processed under OpenAI’s API terms when enabled. We do not use your content to train Nomad’s own models.
Cursor / agentic coding tools (Cursor and related model providers)
Role: Software development assistance used by Nomad to build and maintain products (“built with AI”). Not a runtime feature of your journal account.
Data that may be sent: Source code and engineering context in our development environment — not your live journal account contents as a product feature.
Training / model use: Development tooling is separate from customer journal processing. Customer data is not intentionally uploaded into coding agents as a product workflow.
Web Speech API (Your browser / OS)
Role: Optional voice-to-text for trade notes where the browser supports it.
Data that may be sent: Audio may be processed by the browser or device speech service; Nomad receives the resulting text you keep in the note field.
Training / model use: Handled by the browser/OS vendor under their terms, not by Nomad’s AI APIs.
3. Built with AI (development)
Nomad software is developed with AI-assisted tools (including Cursor and associated coding models). That is separate from processing your live journal: we do not treat “paste the whole customer database into a chat” as an acceptable engineering practice. Customer secrets belong in server environment configuration, not in public client code.
4. Limitations — read this
- AI outputs can be wrong, incomplete, biased, or outdated. They are assistive only.
- AI is not financial, investment, tax, medical, or legal advice.
- You remain responsible for verifying imported fields, grades, chart reads, and any trading decisions.
- We do not guarantee that third-party model providers will never change their terms; material changes to our AI stack will be reflected on this page and in Privacy.
5. Human oversight
Automated scores and suggestions do not replace your judgment. There is no fully automated decision that legally binds you to a trade, loan, or employment outcome inside Nomad Journal — grades and chat are informational tools for your own review process.
